Criminal Justice Amendment Act 2001: repealed, on 1 July 2013, pursuant to section 411 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 (2011 No 81).

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
-
(1) This Act is the Criminal Justice Amendment Act 2001.
(2) In this Act, the Criminal Justice Act 1985 is called
“the principal Act”
.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Determination of application for release to home detention
Section 103B of the principal Act is amended by inserting, after subsection (6), the following subsection:
“(6A) The Board may revoke a direction that an offender be released to serve his or her sentence by way of home detention, at any time before the offender is released.”
