133 In certain cases Governor-General in Council may extend time or validate proceedings

(1)

The Governor-General may, by Order in Council, do 1 or more of the following:

(a)

extend the time for completing an action, step, or procedure that is required by or under this Act and that is not done or cannot be done by the time required:

(b)

validate an action, step, or procedure that is required by or under this Act and that is done after the time required:

(c)

validate an irregularity of form in an action, step, or procedure that is required by or under this Act:

(d)

make a provision for a situation for which sufficient provision is not made by or under this Act.

(2)

An order under this section is secondary legislation (see Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019 for publication requirements).
