Pursuant to section 14(3) of the Electronic Transactions Act 2002, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Electronic Transactions (Exclusion of Enactments and Provisions) Order 2003.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 21 November 2003.
3 Amendments to Schedule of Electronic Transactions Act 2002
(1)
Part 2 of the Schedule of the Electronic Transactions Act 2002 is amended by—
(a)
omitting the item relating to the Citizenship Regulations 1978, and substituting the following item:

(b)
omitting the item relating to the Criminal Justice Regulations 1985.
(2)
Part 4 of the Schedule of the Electronic Transactions Act 2002 is amended by omitting items 11 and 17.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 21 November 2003, updates Parts 2 and 4 of the Schedule of the Electronic Transactions Act 2002 by removing references to enactments that are redundant and, in one instance under Part 2, substituting a replacement reference (to regulation 10 of the Citizenship Regulations 2002).
