Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Retirement Villages Act 2003, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force Part 4 of the Retirement Villages Act 2003.

Part 4 is being brought into force on 1 October 2006. This Part relates to the dispute resolution process and enforcement and penalties.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.

Date of notification in Gazette: 27 July 2006.
