This order is the Crown Entities (Auckland Light Rail Limited) Order 2022.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 6 October 2022.

3 Principal Act

This order amends the Crown Entities Act 2004.

In Schedule 2, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order the item set out in the Schedule of this order.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 6 October 2022, inserts the name of Auckland Light Rail Limited into Schedule 2 of the Crown Entities Act 2004.

Adding Auckland Light Rail Limited to Schedule 2 makes it a Crown entity company. Auckland Light Rail Limited has been established to prepare a business case and associated planning advice and activities during the planning phase of the Auckland Light Rail project.
