The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
-
(1) This Act is the Conservation Amendment Act 2005.
(2) In this Act, the Conservation Act 1987 is called
“the principal Act”
.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Transfer or release of live aquatic life
Section 26ZM(4)(b) of the principal Act is amended by adding the words
“within 20 working days after the date specified in the advertisement for that purpose (being a date that is not earlier than the date on which the advertisement is first published)”
.
