Preamble
At Wellington this 3rd day of December 2007
Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Fair Trading Amendment Act 2006, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order is the Fair Trading Amendment Act 2006 Commencement Order 2007.
2 Commencement of section 4 of Fair Trading Amendment Act 2006
Section 4 of the Fair Trading Amendment Act 2006 comes into force on 29 February 2008.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
The Fair Trading Amendment Act 2006 came into force in 2006 except for section 4 (which inserts new sections 5A and 5B into the Fair Trading Act 1986). Section 4 was to come into force by Order in Council and this order now brings section 4 into force on 29 February 2008.
