Contents

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1 Title

  • This Act is the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Amendment Act 2007.

2 Commencement

  • This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

3 Principal Act amended

  • This Act amends the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989.

4 Application of certain provisions of Companies Act 1993

  • (1) Section 55(1) is amended by inserting “275,” before “292”.

    (2) Section 55 is amended by adding the following subsection:

    • “(3) To avoid doubt, the reference in section 275(4) of the Companies Act 1993 to clause 1(a) of Schedule 7 of the Companies Act 1993 must be read as a reference to section 65(1) of this Act.”
