Securities Amendment Act 2007: repealed, on 1 December 2014, pursuant to section 4(1)(a) of the Financial Markets (Repeals and Amendments) Act 2013 (2013 No 70).

This Act is administered by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Securities Amendment Act 2007.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act amended
This Act amends the Securities Act 1978.
4 Interpretation
Paragraph (a) of the definition of Registrar in section 2(1) is amended by omitting
“sections 7 and 67”
and substituting“sections 67A to 68B, 68G, 68I, and 68K”
.
5 Civil liability for breach of contributory mortgage regulations
Section 57A(2)(c) is amended by omitting
“District Registrar of Companies at Wellington”
and substituting“Registrar”
.
