1 Title

This order is the State Sector (Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority) Order 2011.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 29 March 2011.

3 Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority inserted in Schedule 1 of State Sector Act 1988

Schedule 1 of the State Sector Act 1988 is amended by inserting the following item in its appropriate alphabetical order: “Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 29 March 2011, amends Schedule 1 of the State Sector Act 1988 (which lists the departments of the Public Service) by inserting the name of a new department, called the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority.
