Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title
This order is the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2011.
2 Commencement of Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Amendment Act 2011
The Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Amendment Act 2011 comes into force on 1 July 2011.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Amendment Act 2011 into force on 1 July 2011.
The Act amends the Imports and Exports (Restrictions) Act 1988 to allow the Environmental Protection Authority to make decisions on applications for permits to import or export goods specified by Order in Council.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 2 June 2011.
