Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Immigration Amendment Act 2011, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

This order is the Immigration Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2011.
2 Commencement of Immigration Amendment Act 2011
The Immigration Amendment Act 2011 comes into force on 13 February 2012.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Immigration Amendment Act 2011 into force on 13 February 2012.
That Act amends some provisions of the Immigration Act 2009 relating to information matching, to locate persons in serious default of fines payments, and standardises legislative references to fines and reparation.
Date of notification in Gazette: 3 November 2011.
