Pursuant to section 2 of the Privacy Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Privacy Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2013.
2 Commencement of specified provisions of Privacy Amendment Act 2011
The following provisions of the Privacy Amendment Act 2011 come into force on 1 November 2013:

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings specified provisions of the Privacy Amendment Act 2011 (the Act) into force on 1 November 2013. Those provisions relate to driver licence stop orders (which are new traffic fine enforcement tools) made under the Land Transport Act 1998 and authorise the exchange of personal information in certain cases between the Ministry of Justice and the New Zealand Transport Agency.
The rest of the Act is already in force.
