233 Sales by unlicensed persons


A person who does not hold a licence and sells, or displays or keeps for sale, any alcohol commits an offence.


A person who commits an offence against subsection (1) is liable on conviction to either—


a term of imprisonment of not more than 3 months; or


a fine of not more than $40,000.
