Export Guarantee Amendment Act Commencement Order 1990: revoked, on 31 August 2012, by section 4 of the Regulatory Reform (Repeals) Act 2012 (2012 No 71).

This order is administered in the Treasury.
PURSUANT to section 1(2) of the Export Guarantee Amendment Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Export Guarantee Amendment Act Commencement Order 1990.
2 Commencement of Export Guarantee Amendment Act 1990
The Export Guarantee Amendment Act 1990 shall come into force on the 28th day of June 1990.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Export Guarantee Amendment Act 1990 into force on 28 June 1990. That Act provides for the appointment of a person as General Manager of the Export Guarantee Office in place of General Manager of the State Insurance Office. It also makes other consequential provisions on the transfer, on 28 June 1990, of the State Insurance undertaking to State Insurance Limited under the State Insurance Act 1990 and the repeal, on that date, of the State Insurance Act 1963.
