The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Marine Mammals Protection Amendment Act 2015.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
3 Principal Act
This Act amends the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978 (the principal Act).
4 Section 14 amended (Officer may obtain warrant)
In section 14(1), replace
“to an officer named in the warrant”
with“to every officer named in the warrant”
.
