Pursuant to section 164(1) and (4) of the Education Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Crown responsible for the administration of Part 13 of that Act, and acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Education (Disestablishment of Aoraki Polytechnic and Incorporation in Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology) Order 2015.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 January 2016.
3 Aoraki Polytechnic disestablished and incorporated in Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology
The institution that, immediately before the commencement of this order, was called Aoraki Polytechnic is disestablished and incorporated in Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.

This order, which comes into force on 1 January 2016, disestablishes Aoraki Polytechnic and incorporates it in Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
