Pursuant to section 164 of the Education Act 1989, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council (given on the recommendation of the Minister of the Crown responsible for the administration of Part 13 of that Act), makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Education (Disestablishment of Auckland College of Education and Incorporation into University of Auckland) Order 2004.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 September 2004.
3 Auckland College of Education disestablished, and incorporated into University of Auckland
The institution that, immediately before the commencement of this order, was named the Auckland College of Education is disestablished, and incorporated into the University of Auckland.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 September 2004, disestablishes the Auckland College of Education, and incorporates it into the University of Auckland.
(Sections 217 and 218 of the Education Act 1989 state the effect of disestablishing an institution and incorporating it into another.)
