Order

1 Title

This order is the Education (Disestablishment of Wellington College of Education and Incorporation into Victoria University of Wellington) Order 2004.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 1 January 2005.

3 Wellington College of Education disestablished, and incorporated into Victoria University of Wellington

The institution that, immediately before the commencement of this order, was named the Wellington College of Education is disestablished, and incorporated into the Victoria University of Wellington.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 January 2005, disestablishes the Wellington College of Education, and incorporates it into the Victoria University of Wellington.

(Sections 217 and 218 of the Education Act 1989 state the effect of disestablishing an institution and incorporating it into another.)
