These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Education.
Pursuant to section 347 of the Education Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General makes the following regulations,—
(a)
acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
following consultation with the Privacy Commissioner in accordance with section 347(2) of that Act.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Education (Ministry of Social Development Authorised to Use National Student Numbers) Regulations 2012.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 January 2013.
3 Ministry of Social Development authorised to use national student numbers
The Ministry of Social Development is a specified user for the purposes of Schedule 24 of the Education and Training Act 2020.
