This order is made under section 26(1)(c) of the Public Service Act 2020 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Public Service (Climate Change Chief Executives Board) Order 2023.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 12 May 2023.
3 Principal Act
This order amends the Public Service Act 2020.
4 Schedule 2 amended
In Schedule 2, Part 3, item relating to the Climate Change Chief Executives Board, second column, insert in their appropriate alphabetical order:

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 12 May 2023, amends Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Public Service Act 2020 (the Act). Part 3 of Schedule 2 lists interdepartmental executive boards and servicing departments for the purposes of the Act. The amendments add the following departments (within the expanded meaning of section 26(3) of the Act) to the departments that are represented on the Climate Change Chief Executives Board established under section 26 of the Act:
Department of Internal Affairs:
National Emergency Management Agency.
Date of notification in Gazette: 13 April 2023.
