This order is made under section 26(1)(c) of the Public Service Act 2020 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Public Service (Digital Executive Board) Order 2023.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 28 September 2023.
3 Principal Act
This order amends the Public Service Act 2020.
4 Schedule 2 amended
(1)
In Schedule 2, Part 3, item relating to Digital Executive Board, revoke the following items:
(a)
Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet; and
(b)
Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
(2)
In Schedule 2, Part 3, item relating to Digital Executive Board, second column, insert in their appropriate alphabetical order:

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 28 September 2023, amends Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the Public Service Act 2020 (the Act). Part 3 of Schedule 2 lists interdepartmental executive boards and servicing departments for the purposes of the Act.
The amendments update the departments (within the expanded meaning set out in section 26(3) of the Act) that are in the remit of the Digital Executive Board established under section 26 of the Act by—
adding the Government Communications Security Bureau, Inland Revenue Department, and Public Service Commission; and
removing the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment.
