This order is made under section 23 of the Public Service Act 2020 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Public Service (Ministry for Regulation) Order 2024.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 March 2024.
3 Principal Act
This order amends the Public Service Act 2020.
4 Schedule 2 amended
In Schedule 2, Part 1, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order:
Ministry for Regulation
Nicola Purvis,
for Clerk of the Executive Council.
Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 March 2024, amends the Public Service Act 2020 (the principal Act) by inserting the name of the Ministry for Regulation (the Ministry) into the list of departments of the public service set out in Part 1 of Schedule 2 of that Act. The effect of the order is that the Ministry becomes a public service agency to which the principal Act applies.
