This order is made under section 23 of the Public Service Act 2020 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Public Service (Ministry of Disabled People) Order 2024.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 December 2024.
3 Principal Act
This order amends the Public Service Act 2020.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 December 2024, amends the Public Service Act 2020 (the principal Act) to reflect the establishment of the Ministry of Disabled People as a government department and the disestablishment of the Ministry for Disabled People as a departmental agency. The amendments—
The effect of the order is that the Ministry of Disabled People becomes a public service agency to which the principal Act applies.
