Māori Trustee Amendment Bill

Proposed amendment

Hon Dr Pita Sharples, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 2

To omit this clause (lines 5 and 6 on page 3) and substitute the following clause:

  • This Act comes into force on 1 July 2009.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper changes the commencement date of the Act to 1 July 2009 (instead of the date that is 6 weeks after the Royal assent is given).
