State Sector Management Bill
Proposed motion to divide Bill into 3 Bills
Hon Tony Ryall, in Committee, to move as follows:
That the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, Part 1, and Schedules 1 and 2 be a separate Bill, and that for the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and the Part 1 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Research, Science, and Technology Act 2010.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 February 2011.
That Part 2 and Schedule 3 be a separate Bill, and that for the Part 2 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the National Library of New Zealand (Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa) Amendment Act 2010.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 February 2011.
That Part 3 and Schedule 4 be a separate Bill, and that for the Part 3 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Public Records Amendment Act 2010.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 February 2011.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper divides the State Sector Management Bill into the following 3 Bills:
the Research, Science, and Technology Bill:
the National Library of New Zealand (Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa) Amendment Bill:
the Public Records Amendment Bill.
