Proposed amendments

Hon Tony Ryall, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Part 1

Subpart 1 heading: to omit this heading (line 10 on page 6) and substitute the following heading:

Allocation of funding

Heading above clause 7: to omit this heading (line 11 on page 6).

Heading above clause 8: to omit this heading (line 1 on page 7).

Heading above clause 9: to omit this heading (line 14 on page 7).

Heading above clause 10: to omit this heading (line 30 on page 7).

Subpart 2 heading: to omit this heading (lines 32 and 33 on page 10 and lines 1 and 2 on page 11) and substitute the following heading:

Abolition of Foundation and transfer of assets, liabilities, and employees from Foundation, and employees from former department, to Ministry

Part 2

Subpart 1 heading: to omit this heading (line 8 on page 15) and substitute the following heading:

Amendments to principal Act

Subpart 2 heading: to omit this heading (lines 1 and 2 on page 19) and substitute the following heading:

Transfer of employees of National Library and related matters

Part 3

Subpart 1 heading: to omit this heading (line 18 on page 19) and substitute the following heading:

Subpart 2 heading: to omit this heading (lines 1 and 2 on page 23) and substitute the following heading:

Transfer of employees of Archives New Zealand and related matters

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper makes drafting changes to the State Sector Management Bill. When Parts 1, 2, and 3 are divided into separate Bills, the references to subparts will no longer be appropriate. Because Standing Orders do not currently permit subpart and ordinary headings to be changed other than by way of a substantive Supplementary Order Paper, this Supplementary Order Paper is required to change subpart headings into ordinary headings and removes ordinary headings that are no longer appropriate.
