Customs and Excise (Joint Border Management Information Sharing and Other Matters) Amendment Bill
Proposed motion to divide Bill into 2 Bills
Hon Maurice Williamson, in Committee, to move as follows:
That the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, Part 1, and Schedules 1 and 2 be a separate Bill, and that for the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and the Part 1 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Customs and Excise Amendment Act 2010.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
That Part 2 be a separate Bill, and that for the Part 2 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Biosecurity Amendment Act 2010.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

This Supplementary Order Paper divides the Customs and Excise (Joint Border Management Information Sharing and Other Matters) Amendment Bill into the following 2 Bills:
the Customs and Excise Amendment Bill:
