Proposed amendment

Hon Steven Joyce, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Item relating to Land Transport Amendment Act 2009 in Part 1 of Schedule 3

To add (after line 29 on page 81):

Item relating to the Transport Act 1962 in Part 1 of Schedule 2: omit.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper omits the item relating to the Transport Act 1962 in Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the Land Transport Amendment Act 2009. The item is no longer required as the Land Transport (Road Safety and Other Matters) Amendment Bill is to repeal the Transport Act 1962 before the item comes into force.
