Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends the commencement date for Part 5 of the Bill (which amends the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993) and, consequentially, clauses 58, 59, and 62. The passage of time requires the references to 1 November 2011 to be updated. A specific commencement date for Part 5 of the Bill, which is then reflected in the transitional provisions of that Part, is necessary so that it is clear when the Chief Censor must establish and maintain an electronic register of classification decisions.
This Supplementary Order Paper also corrects a typographical error in clause 69.
