Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends clause 13(3) of the Bill to ensure that any Alcohol Advisory Council Levy Order made under section 27 of the Alcohol Advisory Council Act 1976 before 1 July 2012 is continued by Part 1 if the order is in force on 1 July 2012.

This Supplementary Order Paper also updates Schedules 8 and 9 of the Bill and is consequential on the enactment of the Charities Amendment Act 2012. Schedule 8 makes various amendments to the Charities Act 2005 and the provisions of that Act amended by the Charities Amendment Act 2012 are the ones updated. Schedule 9 makes various amendments to other Acts and consequential amendments to savings provisions in the Charities Amendment Act 2012 are included in this schedule.
