Crown Entities Reform Bill
Proposed motion to divide Bill into 3 Bills
Hon Dr Jonathan Coleman, in Committee, to move as follows:
That the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, Part 1, and Schedules 1 to 4 be a separate Bill, and that for the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and the Part 1 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Amendment Act 2012.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 July 2012.
That Part 2 and Schedules 5 and 6 be a separate Bill, and that for the Part 2 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Mental Health Commission Amendment Act 2012.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 July 2012.
That Part 3 and Schedules 7 to 9 be a separate Bill, and that for the Part 3 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Charities Amendment Act 2012.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 July 2012.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper divides the Crown Entities Reform Bill into the following 3 Bills:
the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Amendment Bill:
the Mental Health Commission Amendment Bill:
the Charities Amendment Bill.
