Ngai Tāmanuhiri Claims Settlement Bill

Proposed amendment

Hon Christopher Finlayson, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 68

In clause 68, replace the definition of Wharerata Forest Limited (lines 24 to 29 on page 50) with:

Wharerata Forest Limited means the company of that name incorporated under the company number 3910978—

  • (a) to act as the trustee of the Wharerata Forest Trust; and

  • (b) to administer the Wharerata Forest in accordance with—

    • (i) this Act; and

    • (ii) the deed of settlement; and

    • (iii) the Wharerata shareholders' agreement and trust deed

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper replaces the definition of Wharerata Forest Limited to provide for its full identification as a registered company.
