Gambling Amendment Bill (No 3)

Proposed amendment

Hon Peter Dunne, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

New clause 9C

After clause 9B (page 8, after line 24), insert:

9C Section 104 amended (Gaming machine profits must be banked)

In section 104(1), delete “directly”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Gambling Amendment Bill (No 3). The amendment inserts a provision in the Bill that amends section 104(1) of the Gambling Act 2003 to remove the word “directly”. The purpose of the amendment is to clarify the application of section 104(1).
