Proposed motion to divide Bill into 3 Bills
Hon Anne Tolley, in Committee, to move as follows:
That the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, Part 1, and the Schedule be a separate Bill, and that the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and the Part 1 heading be replaced with:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Social Security Amendment Act 2015.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on 1 April 2016, and, if any Order in Council made under section 61HA(2) of the Social Security Act 1964 comes into force on the same date, this Act comes into force immediately before that order.
That Part 2 be a separate Bill, and that the Part 2 heading be replaced with:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Education Amendment Act 2015.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
That Part 3 be a separate Bill, and that the Part 3 heading be replaced with:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Taxation (Support for Children in Hardship) Act 2015.
2 Commencement
(1)
Sections 14 and 15 come into force on 1 April 2016.
(2)
The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
