Clause 6
In clause 6(2)(c), replace “English text of which”
(page 6, line 10) with “consolidated English text of the Convention and Protocol”

In clause 6(2)(d), replace “English text of which”
(page 6, line 14) with “consolidated English text of the Protocols”
.
Clause 13
In clause 13, after “sections 6 to 9”
(page 9, line 26), insert “and the cross-heading above section 8”
.
Clause 20
After clause 20(2) (page 14, after line 35), insert:

with “offence”

Schedule 2
In Schedule 2, item relating to Criminal Procedure Act 2011, after “Criminal Procedure Act 2011”
(page 43, line 4), insert “(2011 No 81)”

In Schedule 2, item relating to Maritime Security Act 2004, new section 56(1)(d), replace “crimes”
(page 43, line 10) with “offences”
.
In Schedule 2, item relating to Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 1992,—
(a)
new item 12A, third column, replace “transport of fugitives”
(page 43) with “transportation of fugitives”
; and
(b)

Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper makes several non-substantive drafting amendments to the Maritime Crimes Amendment Bill.
Departmental disclosure statement
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade considers that a departmental disclosure statement is not required to be prepared for this Supplementary Order Paper.
