Proposed amendment

Hon Dr Megan Woods, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 2

In clause 2(1), replace “assent date” (page 2, line 5) with “date on which this Act receives the Royal assent”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Earthquake Commission Amendment Bill to correct a minor error in the commencement clause (clause 2).

Departmental disclosure statement

The Treasury considers that a departmental disclosure statement is not required to be prepared for this Supplementary Order Paper.
