Proposed amendment
Chris Bishop, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
New Clause 7
After clause 6 (page 4, after line 18), insert:
7 Review of Act
This Act must be reviewed by a select committee, allocated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, within six months of each general election following this Act entering into force.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Electoral (Integrity) Amendment Bill to add a new clause 7 to require a review of the legislation following each general election.
