Regulatory Systems (Housing) Amendment Bill (No 2)

Proposed amendments

Hon Phil Twyford, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Part 1 heading

In the Part 1 heading, replace “Housing Restructuring and Tenancy Matters Act 1992” (page 2, lines 5 and 6) with “Public and Community Housing Management Act 1992”.

Clause 3

In the heading to clause 3, replace “Housing Restructuring and Tenancy Matters Act 1992” (page 2, line 7) with “Public and Community Housing Management Act 1992”.

In clause 3, replace “Housing Restructuring and Tenancy Matters Act 1992” (page 2, line 8) with “Public and Community Housing Management Act 1992”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Regulatory Systems (Housing) Amendment Bill (No 2). One of the Acts to be amended by the Bill has had a recent change of title. This Supplementary Order Paper updates the Bill with that Act’s new title.

Departmental disclosure statement

The Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment considers that a departmental disclosure statement is not required to be prepared for this Supplementary Order Paper.
