New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Institute Vesting Bill

Proposed amendments

Honourable Nanaia Mahuta, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 4

In clause 4(1), replace “3 ROT 124–166” (page 6, lines 35 and 36) with “28 ROT 124–166”.

Schedule 1

In Schedule 1, clause 4(7), replace “1 April 2018” (page 13, line 31) with “1 April 2020”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the New Zealand Arts and Crafts Institute Vesting Bill to correct the following technical matters:

  • in clause 4(1), the reference number is corrected for the Minute Book recording the decision of the Native Land Court of 24 October 1893; and

  • in clause 4(7) of Schedule 1, the commencement date for the final period (which relates to the final report of the NZMACI), is changed to 2020 (from 2018).

Departmental disclosure statement

Te Puni Kōkiri considers that a departmental disclosure statement is not required to be prepared for this Supplementary Order Paper.
