Proposed amendment
Hon Ginny Andersen, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
Clause 2
In clause 2(1)(b), replace “1 January 2024”
with “1 July 2024”
.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper extends the backstop commencement date of the Bill from 1 January 2024 to 1 July 2024. Any provisions that have not been brought into force by Order in Council earlier will come into force on 1 July 2024.
