Proposed amendments

Hon Todd McClay, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 200

Delete clause 200 (page 78, lines 1 to 4).

Clause 201

In clause 201(2), replace new section 113C(2)(c) (page 78, lines 12 to 14) with:

(c)

specify where a copy of the constitution of the organisation or a copy of the arrangement, as the case may be, may be obtained.

Explanatory note

This Amendment Paper amends clauses 200 and 201 of the Regulatory Systems (Primary Industries) Amendment Bill (the Bill), which amend sections 113B and 113C of the Fisheries Act 1996 (the Act). The amendments update the Bill to reflect amendments made to sections 113B and 113C of the Act by the Fisheries (International Fishing and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2025.
