In the amendment to clause 80D, new definition of online gambling duty funding, paragraph (b), after “as a percentage”
(page 1), insert “of at least 25%”

Explanatory note
This Amendment Paper (AP) amends AP No 530 amending the Online Casino Gambling Bill. This amendment reflects the chosen option in the Supplementary Analysis Report, to “Increase the Offshore Gambling Duty from 12% to 16%, with 4% ring-fenced for community returns to be distributed by the Lottery Grants Board”.1 We do not believe that AP No 530 achieves the ring-fence aspect of this option.
