Online Casino Gambling Bill

Lemauga Lydia Sosene, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 2

Replace clause 2 (page 5, lines 1 to 8) with:

(1)

This Act comes into force on 1 January 2028.

(2)

However, sections 75 and 77 come into force on the day after Royal assent.

Schedule 1

In Schedule 1, Part 1, clause 1(2), replace “1 December 2026” (page 50, line 12) with “1 August 2028”.

In Schedule 1, Part 1, clause 1(2)(b), replace “1 June 2027” (page 50, line 16) with “1 January 2029”.

In Schedule 1, Part 1, clause 1(3), replace “1 December 2026” (page 50, line 18) with “1 August 2028”.

This Amendment Paper amends the Online Casino Gambling Bill.
