This Amendment Paper amends clause 118 of the Offshore Renewable Energy Bill (the Bill), which empowers the sharing of information between the Minister and any agency listed in the clause. This is a consequential amendment to replace the reference to the Ministry for the Environment in clause 118(2)(h) with a reference to the new Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions, and Transport following the enactment of the Environment (Disestablishment of Ministry for the Environment) Amendment Act 2026. The change will ensure that information can be shared under clause 118 of the Bill between the Minister and the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions, and Transport.
