Proposed amendment

Phil Twyford, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 6: new section 125E

To omit this section (line 23 on page 9 to line 10 on page 10).

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services (Financial Assistance Package) Amendment Bill by omitting new section 125E. This section is omitted to remove the Crown’s immunity from liability for the failure of repairs made under the Financial Assistance Package and any losses suffered as a result of actions of the Department of Building and Housing or the Crown under the Financial Assistance Package process.
