Proposed amendment
Iain Lees-Galloway, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
Clause 4
In clause 4, replace new section 3 (lines 18 to 21 on page 7) with:
“3 Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to contribute to the aim of achieving an affordable, integrated, safe, responsive, and sustainable land transport system.”
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Land Transport Management Amendment Bill. Clause 4 replaces new section 3 to return the purpose of the Land Transport Management Act 2003 the (principle Act) to contributing to the aim of achieving an affordable, integrated, safe, responsive, and sustainable land transport system.
