Proposed amendment

Moana Mackey, in Committee, to move the following amendment:

Clause 5

In clause 5, new section 107(2A), replace “5 years” (page 2, line 13) with “15 years”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends clause 5 of the Bill to provide a reasonable time limit on discharge or coastal permits issued pursuant to section 107(2)(a) of the Resource Management Act 1991.
