Proposed amendments
Jacinda Ardern, in Committee, to move the following amendments:
Clause 1
In clause 1, replace “Register”
(page 4, line 2) with “Government Agency Registration”

Clause 54
In clause 54, new section 182B(1)(a), replace “Register”
(page 32, line 32) with “Government Agency Registration”
.
Clause 55
In clause 55, new section 209(2)(ba), replace “Register”
(page 33, line 3) with “Government Agency Registration”
.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends clause 1, changing the Bill title to the Child Protection (Child Sex Offender Government Agency Registration) Bill, and amends clauses 54 and 55 to reflect that change. This title better reflects the content and scope of the Bill, by specifying that the register that the Bill proposes is limited to information between government agencies, and not a public register.
