Proposed amendment
Tracey Martin, in Committee, to move the following amendment:
Clause 60
In clause 60, new section 78LD(1), delete “, and the Minister may also appoint that trustee as the presiding trustee”
(page 44, lines 10 and 11).
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends clause 60 in the Education (Update) Amendment Bill to remove the ability of the Minister to make this appointed trustee the “presiding trustee”
, or as more commonly known “the Chair”
, of the Board of Trustees.
